Title:

Hellos! I AM BACK FROM TAIWAN! MISSED ME? :D :D :D
From 24 Nov-1 Dec
We went to the airport and boarded the plane. I watched Spongebob on the aeroplane :P. About 4 and a half hours to Taipei (the North of Taiwan).
Let me tell you what they said in the itenary (in blue):
Day 1: Singapore to Taipei
Assemble at Changi International Airport and begin with a pleaseant flight to Taipei, the largest city in Taiwan. And welcomed by our friendly local guide before we proceed to Sihhlin Night Market. ( Noted: If arrive at afternoon, we will proceed to Miramar Entertainment Park, in here you can have a birds' eye view of Taipei by the ferris Wheel (at own expense).
Well...we did not arrive in the afternoon so we did not make it to the Miramar Entertainment Park. On the bus ride by the way, the local guide and the tour guide introduced themselves.
The tour guide looks like a Korean actress. Lols! :D
Night market in Taiwan is like a Pasa Malam except that it is MUCH MORE CROWDED and the shops there are permanent. As in they are buildings. Trust me, if you turn your head back to look at something and you look back, you will be lost. But luckily that did not happen to me :D Whew!
Day 2: Taipei- Yilan
Morning, depart for Yehliu, view the most spectacular and famous results of erosion her are those named Queen's Head Rock, Fairy Shoe etc. Follow by Chiufen, where you can also try some famous local dish such as Taro and Sweet Potato Ball. Next, proceed to Yi-Lan Leisure Farm. In the farm, enjoy a stroll down the beautiful and peaceful green pasture and at evening, have a chance to participate in the farm activities such as releasing Heavely latern (放天灯), learning to make "Tang Yuan" ( glutinous rice balls) and many more. After an exciting day at the farm, have a good rest at the farm house..Note: Realeasing heavenly latern, subject to weather condition.
Unfortunately, it really rained and we were unable to release the heavenly latern. Sianxx.
The activities were fun :D.
And the Queen's Head Rock, Fairy Shoe, etc, were atually rocks formed by fossils. They are naturally formed and not made or carved by humans. (I will post the pictures in another post)
Day 3: Yilan-Hualien-taitung
Morning, proceed to HuaLien via suhua highway. Upon arrival, proceed to visit Taiwan largest marble factory. Then enjoy a traditional Ami aboriginal cultural show. after lunch, you will take an impressive tour of Taroko National Park, it is the second largest national park in Taiwan, also one of the natural wonders of the world Chang chun Temple is to remember those who sacrificed their lives for building the central highway. Next, proceed to Spring Resort. It is located in the middle of the East Rift Valley, creating the magnificient sceneries Taitung 5-star Hot Spring Resort.
The bus ride was SUPER LONG. Well...about 4 and a half hours. And actually, every day we sit at least 4 hours of bus ride, some are separated of course, but some are NOT. So sianxx lehhs, sit on the bus for so long doing nothing but listening to the tour guide talking and talking and talking. I wonder how the tour guide talk SO MUCH! AMAZING! Must be years of experience. :P. HAHAS!
Anywayxx, the hot spring is not hot derrs. Not nice! And the Jacuzzi is SO COLD YOU CAN FREEZE TO DEATH!
Day 4: Taitung-Kaohsiung-Tainan
This morning, proceed to Tuntex Sky Tower which was completed in 1997 . We will be taking one of the world's fastest elevators; 43 seconds to the 74th floor (observation floor) ( ticket included) to have a bird's eye view of Kaohsiung. We will move on to Dream Mall, ranked sixth-largest shopping mall in Asia. You can take Ferris Wheel (at own expense), which each carts are painted with "Hello Kitty". Next, go to Fort Anping, originally control by the Dutch and was taken over by General Zheng Cheng-gong in 1662. Walking along the path bring you to Anping Old Street, you may try out the local traditional snack and take picture of this ancient town. In the evening, we will being you to Tainan night market.
On the Sky Tower, it was like...the buildings were so little and the trees, so cute! Hahas, like toys. I was blinded by the number of taxis.
The ferris wheel was cute! And we sat for about 15 minutes :D
It was boring in Fort Anping.
Day 5: Tainan-Nantou- Taichung
Morning, proceed to Nantou for the beautiful Sun moon Lake. You will be taking cruise ride on the Sun Moon Lake and enjoy the beauty of the natural. And getting fun and excitement at Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Viallge Theme Park (tickets included). Experience the essence of Taiwan Indigenous culture at the tribes and village; rambl in the various thme flower gardens at European Palace Garden; challenge your spirit of adventure at the amusement isle. In the evening, proceed to Feng Jia Night Market to shop for low priced clothes or try delicious local snacks.
The cruise ride was so fun...i mean, the wind was blowing across your face...SO SHUANG! :D :D :D
The theme park...i did not sit ANY rides. I am super scared derrs i tell you.
The type of rides i will forever NOT SIT:
First: Viking
Second: Rides that causes diziness
Ta-dang! Well, i not scared of heights so tall obstacles is ohkay.
Well, i go to the theme park just to eat cotton candy! :D
So long dint eat liaoss. Finally ate it but dint finish. Diaoss. I mean, c'mon, the cotton candy is bigger than your head!
And then Germaine wanted somebody to sit the rides with her so Eva, one of our tour people, sat with her. She is p4 this year... a year younger than me. And from then on, we became friends. Lols :D
So if you want to know what rides Germaine and Eva sat, go to Germaine's blog to find out :D
Day 6: Taichung-Taipei-Keelung
After breakfast, proceed to Taichung for the famous sun Cakes (Tai Yang Bing) DIY bakery class. Follow by Window On China Theme park which is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Taiwan. Lot of kids on excursion at here! The miniatures are very inticate. And Doraemon theme park will bring a lot of happy memories for kids. Follow by Mao's House, before toward to Tamshui Old Street famous for its "Gramma iron-eggs" and well-preserved buildings. Take a leisure stroll along Fisherman's wharf. In the evening, we go to "Miao-Kou Night Marker". Unlike most other night markets around Taiwan. It is dedicated almost exclusively to delicious snacks food. The famous snacks include Ding Bian Cuo, Nutritious Sandwich etc. You will have a chance to taste all of the fmous dishes in here.
The Window on China Theme park is actually the Doraemon theme park. They are connected. :D
The rides are so cool! So fun! So i sat some this time.
I sat the Mining Train, Crazy Rapid ( dunnoe whether it is named like this...) and the bumper cars.
The Mining Train was quite scary and my stomach squeezed tightly into a ball...lols! I wante to scream but nothing can come out of my mouth... Diaoss. Eva and Germaine sat that with me
Then later Daddy, Germaine, Eva and I went to sit the Crazy Rapid. It is actually a water ride which you will sit on a boat like thingee and whee! We go down the slide, rock here rock there, then will splash water. We keep sabo-ing ach other to get splashed by the water. Hahas! DAMN FUN! Germaine, Eva and I sat again and again. Then i finally got splashed by the water. Hahas!
My pants was wet then. :D
The bumper cars was fun! Germaine, Eva and I keep on banging into one another. I dunnoe how to ride lehhs... Lols.
Making the Sun Cakes was posponed at night. So we made all different shapes...well, not really. My Dad made a bowl, I made a star and a bear and Germaine made 2 stars. Trust me, they are difficult to make. I ate it...thought it was not bad. =D
Day 7: Taipei
Make a stop at Martyr Shring to witness the elaborate and graceful changing of guard's procession ceremony. Next, visit the National Palace Museum. It is the world's largest assembly of proceless Chinese art treasures, one which spans nearly 5000 years of Chinese History. Enroute visit to TienluHandicraft Centre. Contunues mov on Taipei 101 Shopping Mall. Thereafter, delight in rich shopping opportunities at "Wu Fen Pu Fashion Street".
At the Taipei 101, the lift is SUPER fast and cool. And the view down there is AWESOME! We first went to the 89th floor then we climbed up the stairs( tiring) to the 91th floor where it is outdoors. The wind blowing so SHUANG! TOO SHUANG I DUN FEEL LIKE LEAVING THAT PLACE ANYMORE! But too bad i had to.
Then we climbed down the stairs to the 88th floor and it was beautiful :D.
Unfortunately, each ticket to go up the Taipei 101 is $20. The four of us is equals to $80. W.o.w! SO EX.
Day 8: Taipei-Singapore
After enjoying your breakfast, you can do your last minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight back to Singapore.
We shopped. We sat the aeroplane. I watched the movie "UP" . So nice! :D :D :D
We at the aeroplane at 4.15pm and reached at 8.30pm. The sunset is SO BEAUTIFUL FROM OUTSIDE THE AEROPLANE. So sorry i did not take any pictures of the sunset...it was really so AWESOME.
